Instructions to Bidders
Sealed bids will be received by the Fire District Secretary on behalf of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Victor Fire District at 34 Maple Avenue, Victor, New York 14564 until December 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, for purchase and delivery of one Tandem-Axle Open Utility Trailer. Bids will be publicly opened at the same location and time.
The envelope containing the bid shall be marked “Victor Fire District – Utility Trailer Bid” and shall identify the bidder’s name and business address. Bids must be received before the stated deadline. Late bids will not be considered.
Bidders shall provide one fully assembled and road-ready trailer with all specified equipment, ramps, tie-down provisions and accessories. Prices shall include delivery, setup, inspection and an operational demonstration. The bidder shall verify trailer ratings and loading suitability for the District’s specified UTV.
The specifications are performance-based and describe the desired trailer configuration. Brand names, if offered in supporting literature, are references only; responsive equivalent products meeting the stated minimum requirements may be proposed. The bidder shall document all exceptions or deviations.
