Instructions to Bidders
Sealed bids will be received by the Fire District Secretary on behalf of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Victor Fire District at 34 Maple Avenue, Victor, New York 14564 until December 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, for purchase and delivery of one utility terrain vehicle with accessories, one fire suppression skid unit, and one EMS patient transport skid unit. Bids will be publicly opened at the same location and time.
The envelope containing the bid shall be marked “Victor Fire District – UTV and Rescue Skids Bid” and shall identify the bidder’s name and business address. Bids must be received before the deadline stated. Late bids will not be considered.
Bidders shall provide the complete UTV with its installed vehicle accessories and the two skid units as specified. Prices shall include delivery, setup, and a demonstration of the equipment. The two skid units shall be compatible with the proposed UTV and its payload and cargo-bed limitations. Each proposed substitution shall be specifically described.
The preferred reference vehicle is the 2027 Polaris RANGER CREW XD 1500 NorthStar Premium, or equal. Brand references describe the desired configuration and performance and do not, by themselves, exclude responsive equivalent products. Any proposed equivalent must satisfy the stated minimum requirements.
